Flowered Tie - A Digital Painting Self Portrait

Flower Tie

Inspired by Jorge Ben music, “O Homem da Gravata Florida”, how talk about a man (probably the Paracelsus, the Alchemist) who had a tie made of flowers. That adornment is not a simple tie, it’s a big color harmony and beautiful things report, a hanging garden that can make an ugly man became prince, in their every steps make growing flowers and loves.

Obviously that is like so much this music. But someday, in my therapy session, talking about contradictory aspects of my self image, my therapist ask “What kind a man you want to be?”

I hesitated, I stammered, and said: “The Flowered Tie Man”. But not just in the sense of the well liked being or the beautifulness, but in an animus and anima way. Look, If the knot that tightens the neck is formal, human and rational, I will be a tie. But if the petal that leaves its leaves is nature, perfume and surreal, I will be a flower.”
